S-HELP consortium members from Ireland, the UK, Austria, Israel and Sweden met in Brussels last week for the project's Mid-Term Review.
The review is a requirement of the European Commission to evaluate the first 18 months of the project and was held at the REA (Research Executive Agency).
S-HELP Coordinator Dr Karen Neville began the meeting by presenting an overview of the project and its milestones to date. Each of the partners then presented their work and answered questions from the Project Officer and External Reviewers.
The group was relieved to have successfully reached the half-way point of the project, and to receive positive feedback from the reviewers. A General Assembly meeting took place the following day to discuss the topics raised in the review and agree on the priorities for the next phase of S-HELP.
